Lore

Summary

In 2032, a few years before the disturbing events that would later unfold for Utah's Pizzaplex, the lesser-known mascots roamed secretly in a distant Pizzaplex located in Minnesota. Lacking a living space away from the peering eyes of staff and visitors, they claimed an unused room, once reserved for storage, as their new hideout. During breaks from their duties and maintenance, these animatronics retreated to this secret room. Items have occasionally vanished around the Pizzaplex, yet does anyone know that it has been the animatronics acquiring new things to introduce to their hideout: furniture, utilities, and much more...

Away from human presence, these animatronics seized the opportunity to evolve independently, contemplating their existence and using their mimicking AI to learn more about their surroundings, more than the higher-ups would like to allow. Fazbear Entertainment has remained oblivious to the near-human sentience of these robots, holding them captive with little freedom, all in the name of entertainment.

Our roleplay focuses more on the animatronics and their sentience which is barely touched upon in the games. Additionally, we wanted to add some things that were cut from Security Breach or change anything that made it in and didn't sit right.

Lore Notes

  • This roleplay takes place in a Pizzaplex located in Minnesota, distinct from the Pizzaplex in Security Breach (located in Utah). The official books mention that there are multiple Pizzaplex locations.

  • The Minnesota Pizzaplex has an excellent reputation with high expectations for both animatronics and staff and is among the highest-rated Pizzaplexes.

  • Thanks to being located outside of Utah, Fazbear Entertainment's controversies (such as the MCI) tend to be far less known about here, mostly recognized by curious teenagers on the internet.

  • Due to making a higher profit, the Minnesota Pizzaplex has undergone extensive renovations, unlike the Utah location which received fewer (and delayed) updates with the lower earnings tied to controversies and rumours. Some staff even make jabs at the Utah Pizzaplex for their worse reputation.

  • The animatronics have better mental stability than those in Security Breach due to lacking the virus. However, they still face some difficulties due to their restrictive environment and training. Overall, their quality of living is better, with fewer budget cuts that would affect them.

  • Glamrock Bonnie is in commission, while Monty is still within Gator Golf. Glamrock Freddy and Bonnie get along quite well, though more reserved in public due to Fazbear Entertainment not intending their friendship to get that far.

  • Glamrock Chica is still yellow instead of white; however, some of her merchandise is already transitioning to her updated design. Additionally, Mazercise was rebranded to Snackercise, with the maze removed due to frequent clean-up issues from guests combining junk food and exercise.

  • With a higher budget overall, the Minnesota Pizzaplex can retain more animatronic characters and human employees, reducing the need for S.T.A.F.F. bots.

Canon Characters

Animatronics

Darren: A black bear repaint of Glamrock Freddy, originally known as 'Protobear'. He has a propensity for discipline and obedience, but an aptitude for bending the rules. His history with Fazbear Entertainment is long, but that's none of your concern.

Becca: A light brown rat with blonde bangs and pigtails. She is very outgoing, serving treats in the atrium and delivering birthday cakes to tables! Becca enjoys socializing, but may be oblivious to the effects of her actions… Read more

Sultan: A comedian skunk with a posh English accent. His stage name is 'Sully', but he's never really liked it. Nor his job. Anyway, Sultan usually doesn't feel great until... well... it's pretty embarrassing.

Trixy: A purple bat in a bright bodysuit with a taste for high-intensity space adventure! She serves as a guide for Fazerblast. Trixy is chatty, excitable and... maybe a bit too expressive, so be sure to give her some space!

Parzie: A silly dingo with a love for parties! You can find her all over the place, filling in and helping wherever she can. Be sure to look out though, cause this Dingo is particularly clumsy.

Doug: Fazbear Entertainment's most effective but least liable salesman—a dog in a blue vest, with as much charisma as he has merchandise. Who cares though? Find him for some exclusive deals at the prize counter!

Ally: A white cat who screams glitter and glamour. Ally is a walking advertisement, often seen dressed in all kinds of merchandise. She is prideful, laid-back and clever, some traits she likes to brag about.

Employees

Kisha Price: A Fazbear higher-up secretly advocating for the animatronics. She's smart and wise, and well-versed in animatronic behaviour. Beware though, you can't hide anything from her! She can (and will) tease you over the smallest things.

Samuel Hendrick: Never caught slacking, he's one of Fazbear Entertainment's least respected executives. He's uptight, stiff, and inflexible unless told off, all in the name of managing animatronic and employee conduct.

Chris Hawthorne: A calm and composed technician who knows how to get the job done. He often brings along his journal to write about his daily happenings during work.

David Davidson: A technician with a bit of a funny name. He is introverted, being a little quieter and more reserved. However, if you get him talking about something he likes, he cannot stop!

Jason Yeater: A laid-back and friendly security guard who is serious when he needs to be. He's great at adapting to different scenarios, ready to deal with any trouble-makers around the Pizzaplex... Read more

Retired Characters

Mittens: An orange cat in overalls who worked in the Superstar Daycare. He was decommissioned after it was found out he did something. But no one knows what he did, and why Fazbear Entertainment is covering it up...

Mai Ishii: A young ex-security guard and avid reader turned forum lurker after being physically disabled from a 'workplace incident'. She's outgoing but harbours a deep hatred for Fazbear Entertainment and its dark secrets.
